The Chief Hosa Lodge in Evergreen Colorado is a new Colorado wedding venue to us this past year. In fact, i haven’t ever heard or seen anything about it until this couple. It is up i-70, tucked back in off of the Chief Hosa exit. If you live in Colorado you understand what i am saying. Valerie and Darryl wanted something simple yet beautiful and Chief Hosa Lodge is just that. It is like an enchanted castle with the most epic colorado mountain view.
Honestly, i was SO freaking nervous for Valerie & Darryl’s wedding day. First off it was a 11am Ceremony so the lighting was going to be a challenge, it was a new location for me, and was the very first time i would shoot a wedding without kevin. I booked Valerie & Darryl’s wedding day while in Hawaii on vacation and about one month before the wedding day. It was super clear from the git go they wanted LOTS of photos to cherish for many years to come. Aside from the Chief Hosa Lodge being a new location for me to shoot alone, it proved to be gorgeous even at the harshest lighting of the day. We were able to explore in the mountain side full of trees and also incorporate the epic mountain view, which was a huge plus for this amazing couple.
Congratulations Valerie & Darryl! We are so thrilled for you and this next step in life.
We love pups being incorporated in your big day!!
Our Photo booth is always a HIT with the kiddos 🙂
